Past Professional Projects
Harrow Road, Westminster
Jon Mills ( JM ) delivered this newbuild residential project whilst working for the AJ 100 firm, Rolfe Judd Architects.
The Harrow Road redevelopment returns the site to its original role as a residential-led mixed-use building after a devastating fire in 2017 destroyed most of the existing structure.
Outdated and underused commercial space at ground level has been replaced with high-quality retail frontages, enhancing activity along Harrow Road. The scheme reinstates the ten lost homes and adds a further nine new apartments above. Designed with sensitivity to the site and its residential surroundings, the development makes a positive contribution to the local streetscape.

Grafton Street, Westminster
Jon Mills ( JM ) delivered this historic refurbishment project whilst working for the AJ 100 firm, Rolfe Judd Architects.
1 Grafton Street occupies a prime position in the heart of Mayfair. The carefully considered refurbishment has focused on enhancing the building’s presence at street level, introducing a more refined and distinguished frontage through the sensitive restoration of the ground-floor shopfronts, the rationalisation of the site layout, and a reconfigured entrance sequence. These interventions improve clarity of movement and anchor the characterful historic building within its surrounding context with a composed elegance.
Reflecting the crafted detailing of the exterior, the interior design is defined by a restrained palette of timber finishes, complemented by brass and bronze accents set against the soft grey tones of the restored basalt limestone flooring.
